Aeration Service
Core aeration is one of the most important cultural practices available for your lawn. Aeration helps improve the soil structure, creates growth pockets for new roots, and opens the way for water and fertilizer to reach the root zone of your lawn.
Aeration is especially recommended for our Northeast Ohio lawns, due to the high level of clay found in our soil. This high level leads very easily to compaction and thatch build-up that makes your lawn thin and sickly looking.
Aeration removes thousands of small cores of soil 1” to 3” in length. These cores “melt” back into your lawn after a few rainfalls, mixing with fertilizer and other nutrients. Turf roots naturally grow towards these pockets and thicken your lawn in the process.
